Plovdiv Municipal Privatization Agency (PMPA) was established in 1993 in accordance with Resolution N107/04.06.1993 of the Municipality Council of Plovdiv as a special organization to handle the municipal privatization process. PMPA is responsible of preparation, completion and post-privatization control of municipal property, which includes shares and stakes of municipal companies, and commercial estates. According to the Privatization Law and Municipality Council's Resolutions PMPA's priorities are fast, efficient and open to the public privatization of municipal properties. Main principles in conducting the privatization process are publicity, equality and strict observation of the law.
PMPA is managed by Supervisory Board and CEO - Mr. Chavdar Marev since 01.12.2004.
